Last updated 12 September 2026. These terms apply to the FamPlan applications for iPhone, iPad, Android and the web, and to the FamPlan services operated by Spydaz Holdings LLC.
By using FamPlan you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use it. They form the agreement between you and Spydaz Holdings LLC, and they apply alongside the Privacy Policy, which describes what information we hold and what we do with it.
The person who creates a family and holds the account must be legally capable of entering into a contract where they live, and agrees to these terms on behalf of that family.
A family is made up of members, and each member is given a role. These words describe what a member can do inside FamPlan. They are not statements about anybody’s actual relationship to anybody else, and we do not collect or hold any information with which to verify one. Who is called a parent, a teen or a child in a family is decided entirely by that family.
A member who signs in without an email address of their own holds a sub-account rather than an account. A sub-account exists only inside the family that created it and cannot exist on its own.
The owner, and any member given the parent role, may accept these terms and the Privacy Policy on behalf of any member they add to the family, and does so by adding them. That acceptance binds that member’s use of FamPlan.
By adding a member you confirm that you are entitled to do so, to accept these terms for them, and to enter whatever information about them you enter. You remain responsible for that member’s participation and may end it at any time by removing them.
Whoever creates a family is responsible for it: who is added, what is recorded, and whether it is accurate.
FamPlan records a plan. It does not enforce one. It does not supervise anybody, guarantee that a person will arrive, or verify that anyone did what they said they would. A journey marked as covered means somebody said so in an application.
Do not rely on FamPlan for anybody’s safety. Notifications can be delayed or fail, a device can be switched off, and a service can be unavailable. Confirm any arrangement involving a child’s transport or wellbeing directly with the person concerned.
Where FamPlan shows information that originates elsewhere — a recipe, an assignment, a transport schedule — it is a convenience copy and the original source remains the record that counts. Recipes and meal suggestions are not dietary, medical or religious advice: an ingredient list can be wrong or incomplete, and a name, category or tag does not make a dish safe for any allergy or requirement. Check ingredients and labels yourself. Amounts recorded against chores or allowances are a private record between members of your family; FamPlan is not a bank, holds no funds, and no money moves through it.
What you put into FamPlan is yours. You grant us permission to store, process and display it for the purpose of operating the service for your family, and for no other purpose. That permission does not extend to selling it, licensing it, or sharing it for advertising, and we will not do those things. Where a feature uses what you wrote for any purpose beyond running the service, it is described in the Privacy Policy and requires your consent.
If we are acquired or merged, any successor is bound by these terms and the Privacy Policy as they then stand.
You may not use FamPlan to break the law, to harass or monitor somebody without their knowledge, to store information about other people that you have no right to hold, or to attack, probe or overload the service. We may suspend or end an account that does.
Parts of FamPlan are optional modules, and some of them connect to a service outside FamPlan. A module is off until somebody enables it.
A module that connects to an outside service operates under that service’s own terms and privacy policy. You accept those terms when you enable the module, and they govern that service’s handling of whatever passes between it and FamPlan. Connect only an account you are entitled to connect, and only where the provider of that account permits it. A provider or an institution may withdraw permission at any time, in which case the module stops working. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any such provider.
You may also connect an outside AI assistant so that it can create events on your behalf. What you give that assistant is governed by its terms, not ours, and what it does with what you give it is beyond our knowledge. Anything it creates in FamPlan arrives as a proposal for a parent to confirm. You are responsible for reviewing what it proposes, for keeping the connection private, and for revoking it if you no longer want it.
All payments are final. A chargeback or a forced refund initiated against us, other than in a case of fraud documented to us in writing with a signed and notarized police report and supporting documentation, shall be treated as theft. We may pursue recovery of that amount through all legal means available, together with all costs associated with the recovery to the extent allowed by the law of our jurisdiction.
If you believe you have been charged in error, write to us before disputing the charge with your bank or card issuer.
We aim to keep FamPlan running and do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely we will give reasonable notice.
If you are using a pre-release build — a beta, a test build, or any version we have marked as such — this section applies in addition to the rest of these terms and takes precedence for that build.
A pre-release build is unfinished software provided for the purpose of testing. It is provided as is and as available, with no warranty of any kind. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. Such a build may be unstable, may contain errors, may lose, corrupt or duplicate what you put into it, and may be changed, reset, withdrawn or deleted at any time without notice. Do not put anything into a pre-release build that you cannot afford to lose. Any feedback you send us about it may be used by us without obligation to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FamPlan is provided as is and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, for lost or corrupted data, for missed events, or for any loss arising from unauthorized access to our systems.
Making a claim does not entitle you to a payment. We make a payment only where we are legally obliged to, or where we decide to at our sole discretion. Where a payment is made, it is capped, and the cap is the maximum in aggregate for all claims:
Where no payment has been made to us, there is no cap to apply and no payment is due.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or removes an obligation to notify you of a data breach where the law requires it.
You may stop using FamPlan at any time. Any member who is not the family’s owner can leave the family from within the application, and a parent can remove a member. The owner ends a family by deleting it in the application, which deletes the family’s information as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms.
We may change these terms at any time. We will give 30 days’ notice of a change by email and in the application when you sign in. During that 30 day period you may decline the change, which will result in the closure of your account. If you continue to use FamPlan after the change takes effect, the amended terms govern your use of it.
Every version is dated, and previous versions remain available. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stands.
We do not collect locality information about our users, so we have no knowledge of where any individual is and cannot apply the law of a place we do not know. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of Spydaz Holdings LLC, currently Hartford County, Connecticut, United States, and any dispute, request or claim arising out of them or out of your use of FamPlan shall be brought there.
